Innovation Fund
|
In the Spring of 2009 with assistance from key community leaders, Louisiana Tech University established the Innovation Enterprise Fund through the University Foundation. This fund was established to provide small grants to early stage companies spinning out of the University’s technology transfer activities or otherwise affiliated with the University’s business development efforts. The grants are designed to dramatically accelerate the movement of innovation from the research lab to the marketplace and fill critical gaps in funding opportunities for early-stage companies. Priority is given to companies or projects with high commercialization potential and prospects that are likely to have a substantial local/regional business presence.
